PathFinder ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and your choices.

a) Data stored locally on your device

• Game progress, puzzle history, and in-app state are primarily stored on your device.

b) Firebase Analytics data

• We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve the app.
• Analytics events may include gameplay metadata such as puzzle completion, puzzle skip, achievement unlocked, puzzle type, word length, steps, hints used, undos used, and invalid attempts.
• Firebase may also process device/app instance information needed to provide analytics.

c) Purchase and subscription data (RevenueCat)

• We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and entitlements.
• RevenueCat and the app stores (Apple/Google) may process purchase-related data, such as product identifiers, subscription or purchase status, transaction timestamps, and entitlement status.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core app functionality
• Save and sync purchase entitlements
• Measure feature usage and game balance
• Diagnose issues and improve app quality

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following processors:

• Google Firebase Analytics: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• RevenueCat: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google Play for payment processing under their own policies

4. Advertising and Tracking

• We do not use third-party ads in the app.
• We disable ad personalization signals in Firebase configuration.
• We do not request the Android Advertising ID permission in app configuration.

5. Data Sharing

• We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

• Local game data remains on your device unless you remove the app or clear app data.
• Analytics and purchase-related records are retained according to provider retention practices.

7. Children’s Privacy

PathFinder is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We do our best to keep your data safe, but please remember that your device’s security is also important.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates at this policy URL and update the effective date above.
